Nutrition Response Testing, NRT
Nutrition Response Testing, NRT, is a form of muscle testing or applied kinesiology. We use this as a diagnostic method to find weakness in the body. Nutrition Response Testing is also used to test the animal to check their food and supplement program to see if it is a solution that will repair and nourish the body for optimal health.
Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive way of looking at the internal functions of the body. It’s a bioenergetic testing method based on quantum physics and uses the patient’s nervous system to find imbalances in the body and helps us find SOLUTIONS: nutritional products that can potentially aid in healing and create positive change in your pet’s body. We can assess many different things in the body, including internal organ function, the status of the immune system, and various toxins:
· Food or Treats / water sensitivities
· Immune Challenges (respiratory, sinus issues, skin reactions etc.)
· Bacterial infections
· Viruses
· Physical Challenges
· Heavy Metals / Chemicals stuck in the body (ie: Glyphosate, mercury, Aluminum, Floride, etc.)
· Parasites
· Scars
Applied kinesiology may be known to some people as "muscle testing". Many have already experienced applied kinesiology or Nutrition Response Testing at their own chiropractors. Applied kinesiology is a very useful and sensitive diagnostic tool used both on humans and animals. Fortunately, we have learned how to use this human technique to help improve the health and well-being of our animal friends!
Your Role:
When testing animals using applied kinesiology, it is necessary to use an additional person, called an indirect tester. The testing involves the animal, the practitioner, and the indirect tester. The indirect tester is like an extension cord from the animal to the practitioner. This grouping of 3 makes an electrical or energy circuit together. By using this method, it is possible to test for weaknesses in the patient’s body, nutrition supplement needs, and nutritional whole food needs, chiropractic subluxations, lameness, and so on.
In NRT we use specific test kits – small jars of nutritional support – for your animal’s body. We are looking for what’s called Solutions. We find which nutrition support resonates best for your animal. That means it is individually bio-specific.
What I Need from you as an Indirect Tester:
· Meet at a place where your pets are comfortable / calm (usually your home)
· It would be helpful if you have small baggies of your pet’s foods, treats, people food you often give them, medications, a small jar of water or anything else you would like tested with your pet.
· Please fill out your pet(s) form (s) according to canine or feline
